Capter 4 of "You Snooze, You lose"
Chapter 4 of the book is mainly written to "hook" the audience and captivate them with something in order to keep them interested. Small things like smiling during the presentation can help accomplish the goal of captivating the audience. We need to make the presentation relevant to whatever is being presented. The main idea of the chapter was to keep the audience entertained and interested.
Chapter 1 of "You Snooze, You Lose"
Chapter one of the book proved to be interesting and eye opening. I learned that you want to make ppt presentations interesting, yet simple as to not lose your target audience while you are giving the presentation. Choosing the right colors and background can dramatically affect the importance of your presentation. Font size and text spacing is another key factor in making more appealing presentations. You want to make sure you spread out the wording so you won't have so much information on a single slide. It's ok to have many slides, as long as there is not too much information on them. The key in appealing power point presentations is to not go into information overflow and lose your target audience.
